Acrobatics and Tumbling Places Second at NCATA Nationals
EUGENE, Ore. - The Coker University acrobatics and tumbling team wrapped up their memorable inaugural season on Saturday (Apr. 30) by competing in the 2022 NCATA National Championships Event Finals. The Cobras tied for second place in the open pyramid event with Baylor University, posting a score of 9.850.
EUGENE, Ore. - The Coker University acrobatics and tumbling team wrapped up their memorable inaugural season on Saturday (Apr. 30) by competing in the 2022 NCATA National Championships Event Finals. The Cobras tied for second place in the open pyramid event with Baylor University, posting a score of 9.850.
Coker qualified for nationals by scoring the first perfect 10.0 in school history in the open pyramid event on Senior Day vs King (Tenn.) (Apr. 3). The team of Reilly Dehner, Hanna Helms, Madison McAfee, Dorian Brantley, Elizabeth Farester, Callie Jones, Zadie Dulaney, Maleighia Haymon, Kaylin Francavilla, Kayla Young, Amber Garcia, and Paula Urquidi was victorious at the Conference Carolinas Individual Event Finals with a score of 9.975.
