Bio
Walker Long helped pick up a record of two wins in men's singles and two win in men's doubles. For the Women's team, Long coached them to a record of 10-14 in singles and 5-7 in doubles. Simpson also coached nationally ranked (#57) Jessica Simpson who was also named to South Atlantic Conference All-Conference Second Team.
Walker Long '20 joined the tennis coaching staff at his alma mater in August 2021.
Before coming back to Coker, Long was coaching at Pinewood Prepatory School in Summerville, S.C. and also running the after-school program.
Long was a four-year member of the Coker Men's Tennis team, where he was a four-time Dean's List honoree and a two-time selection to the South Atlantic Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll.
Long graduated from Coker in 2020 with a bachelor's degree in business administration with a concentration in sport management, and is currently pursuing his master's degree in college athletic administration at Coker.
