Bio
Arty Walsh joined the Coker University Wrestling coaching staff as an assistant coach on Sept. 26, 2022.
Walsh has been the head wrestling coach at Hero Wrestling Academy since 2015, where he has coached and trained multiple state champions and All-Americans in Folkstyle, Freestyle and Greco Roman wrestling.
Walsh was a three-year member of the Cobra wrestling team after transferring from Division I Lehigh University. He was a Pennsylvania state champion, a USA Wrestling All-American, a three-time PIAA state medalist and a six-time member of the USA Wrestling Pennsylvania National Freestyle and Greco Roman national championship teams. He was also selected as head coach of Team Pennsylvania for the AAU Junior Olympics.
Walsh holds a Bachelor's of Science in Political Science with a minor in Sociology from Coker (2022), and will be pursuing a Master's of Science in Sport Administration.
