Wrestling

• The Cobras hit the road to Indianapolis this week for the 2016 NCAA Division II Wrestling Midwest Super Regional hosted by the University of Indianapolis. Fans can follow all the action by visiting http://athletics.uindy.edu/sports/2016/2/3/SuperRegion2.aspx.

Women’s Basketball

• This week’s games:
  • Wednesday at 6:00 p.m. (A) – Newberry
  • Saturday at 2:00 p.m. (H) – Carson-Newman – Make-A-Wish Day
• Last week’s games:
  • Wingate (L) – 74-66
  • Mars Hill (L) – 77-53
• The Coker women will hit the road to Newberry on Wednesday and then return home for their final home game of the season on Saturday against Carson-Newman. Saturday’s game will be Coker’s Make-A-Wish Day. Fans are encouraged to wear blue to the game in support of the Make-A-Wish Foundation.  

Men’s Basketball

  • Saturday at 4:00 p.m. (H) – Carson-Newman – Make-A-Wish Day
• Last week’s games:
  • Wingate (L) – 58-55
  • Mars Hill (W) – 80-78
• Last week, Coker went 1-1 with a buzzer-beater victory over Mars Hill. This week the Cobras will wrap-up their final week of regular season play when they travel to Newberry on Wednesday and then return home for their final home game of the season on Saturday versus Carson-Newman. Saturday’s game will be Coker’s Make-A-Wish Day. Fans are encouraged to wear blue to the game in support of the Make-A-Wish Foundation. 

Men’s Volleyball

• This week’s games:
  • Friday at 7:00 p.m. (A) – Belmont Abbey
  • Saturday at 2:00 p.m. (A) – North Greenville
• Last week’s games:
  • St. Andrews (W) – 3-0 (25-10, 25-9, 25-10)
  • Limestone (L) – 3-2 (16-25, 25-23, 20-25, 25-19, 15-17)
• Last week, the Cobras went 1-1 with a dominating 3-0 win over St. Andrews. This week they will hit the road for a pair of matches. They will travel to Belmont Abbey on Friday and then head over to North Greenville on Saturday.

Baseball

• This week’s games:
  • Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. (H) – Bluefield State
  • Friday at 2:00 p.m. (A) – Brevard
  • Saturday at 12:00 p.m. (A) – Brevard (DH)
• Last week’s games:
  • Erskine – 10-8 (W), 9-5 (L), 16-9 (W)
• The Cobra baseball team took two of three from regionally ranked No. 8 Erskine last week to improve to 11-3 on the year. This week the Cobras will welcome Bluefield State in a non-conference game on Tuesday and then they will hit the road to for a three-game SAC series against Brevard on Friday and Saturday.

Men’s and Women’s Tennis

• This week’s matches:
  • Thursday at 2:00 p.m. (A) – Francis Marion
• Last week’s matches:
  • Newberry – Women – 5-4 (L), Men – 5-4 (L)
• The Coker men’s and women’s tennis teams will head over to cross-town rival Francis Marion for a pair of non-conference matches on Thursday.

Softball

• This week’s games:
  • Friday at 4:00 p.m. (H) – West Virginia State @ Byerly Park
  • Friday at 6:30 p.m. (H) – Charleston @ Byerly Park
  • Saturday at 4:00 p.m. (H) – King @ Byerly Park
  • Sunday at 1:30 p.m. (H) – Lees-McRae @ Byerly Park
• Last week’s games:
  • USC Aiken – 2-1 (L) – 8 innings, 6-0 (L)
  • North Greenville – 2-1 (L), 2-1 (L) – 8 innings
• The Cobra softball team will host the Coker Spring Softball Tournament on Friday, Saturday and Sunday this week at Byerly Park in Hartsville. The Cobras will take the field for a pair of games on Friday afternoon against West Virginia State and Charleston, followed by a single game on Saturday against King and a single game Sunday against Lees-McRae.  

Men's Lacrosse

• This week’s games:
  • Friday at 7:00 p.m. (H) – Pfeiffer
• Last week’s games:
  • Roberts Wesleyan (L) – 18-7
• The Coker men's lacrosse team will be back in action on Friday against Pfeiffer in their first night game of the season. The Cobras and Falcons will face-off at 7 p.m. at the Coker Athletic Field.  

Men’s and Women’s Track & Field

  • UCS Invitational
• The Coker men’s and women’s track & field teams took part in the UCS Invitational last week. The women brought home seven top-20 finishes, while the men’s team captured four top-25 finishes.

Women's Lacrosse

• This week’s games:

• Last week’s games:
  • Shorter (W) – 14-11
• The Coker women's lacrosse team picked up a 14-11 victory in their season opener last week. Freshman Faith Kent made her presence on the field known as she poured in eight goals in her collegiate debut.

Men’s Golf
