Wrestling

  • Spartanburg Methodist (W) – 49-3
  • Southeastern (W) – 39-7
  • Shorter (W) – 37-9
  • Greensboro (W) – 46-3
• The Cobra wrestling team had an outstanding showing at the 3^rd Annual Coker Duals last week. The Cobras defeated Spartanburg Methodist, Southeastern, Shorter and Greensboro for a perfect 4-0 sweep. They will take a week off before returning to action at Limestone on Jan. 20 for an ECAC match.  

Women’s Basketball

• This week’s games:
  • Wednesday at 6:00 p.m. (H) – Newberry
  • Saturday at 2:00 p.m. (A) – Carson-Newman
• Last week’s games:
  • Wingate (L) – 61-60
  • Mars Hill (L) – 82-71
• This week the Coker women’s basketball team will take on a pair of South Atlantic Conference opponents starting with Newberry at home on Wednesday and then finishing up on the road at Carson-Newman on Saturday.  

Men’s Basketball

• This week’s games:
  • Wednesday at 8:00 p.m. (H) – Newberry
  • Saturday at 4:00 p.m. (A) – Carson-Newman
• Last week’s games:
  • Wingate (L) – 69-63
  • Mars Hill (L) – 69-65
• The Cobras return to the court this week for two SAC games. They will play host to Newberry on Wednesday and then travel to Carson-Newman on Saturday.  

Men’s Volleyball

• This week’s games:
  • Friday at 7:00 p.m. (A) – Lancaster Bible
  • Saturday at 6:00 p.m. (A) – Eastern Mennonite
• Last week’s games:
  • Rust (W) – 3-0 (25-1, 25-7, 25-5)
• The Coker men’s volleyball team got their season off to a great start with a commanding 3-0 win over Rust last week. Freshman Gabriel Castro began his collegiate career with a bang as he set a new Coker single match record for service aces with eight aces. This week the Cobras hit the road to take on Lancaster Bible College and Eastern Mennonite University.  

Men’s & Women’s Track & Field

• This week’s meets:
  • Saturday at 9:00 a.m. (A) – Wake Forest Invitational (men)
• Last week’s meets:
  • Gamecock Indoor Open
• The Coker men’s and women’s track & field teams begin their indoor seasons last week at the Gamecock Indoor Open. Between the two teams they had four top-10 finishes. This week the Coker men hit the road to Winston Salem, N.C. to compete in the Wake Forest Invitational.
