Cobras Ready for Southeast Regional Action

CHARRLOTTE N.C.  – The Cobras will have the advantage of a familiar track as they travel this weekend to McAlpine Creek Park to participate in the NCAA Southeast Regional meet hosted by Queens University of Charlotte.  Coker has run at McAlpine Creek Park in 3-of-6 meets so far this year.

The men's team will be participating in the 10k race and are anticipating strong performances from Josh Peterson, Tom Sizeland, and Dylan Bates.  Peterson, Sizeland, and Bates finished one, two and three for the Cobras in the Conference Championship meet.

Stephanie Shaw and Naomi Watson will anchor the women in the 6k race.  Shaw and Watson have led the Cobras in every race so far this season.

The Southeast Regional will feature teams from Conference Carolinas, the South Atlantic Conference, and the Peach Belt Conference.  The race is scheduled to commence at 8 a.m.
