Wilson, N.C. – The Coker volleyball team picked up their second Conference Carolinas win of the season on Tuesday night with a 3-2 win over Barton College. The Lady Cobras won the first set 25-17, before falling in the next two sets 25-19 and 25-20. Coker got back on track in the fourth set with a 25-21 win and then in the final set won 15-11. The win improves the Lady Cobras to 4-25 overall and 2-14 in the conference.
Cynallyhia Indriago (Columbia, S.C.) led the way with 13 kills, seven digs and two aces, while Kristin Teets (Columbia, S.C.) had eight kills and three and a half total blocks. Trisha Moore (Rock hill, S.C.) was the dig leader with nine digs, with Molly Bookhart (Orangeburg, S.C.) picking up five digs and 17 assists.
Coker returns to the floor on Friday and Saturday for their final two matches of the season. Friday night they take on Pfeiffer University at 7:00 p.m. and then on Saturday, the Lady Cobras face Queens University at 2:00 p.m.
