Cobras Looking to Calm Lakers

HARTSVILLE, S.C. – The Coker women's soccer team will have home turf on Tuesday (Sept. 11) as they host the visiting Lakers of Clayton State at 4: 30 p.m.

The Cobras are looking to bounce back after a tough loss to Armstrong last Saturday (Sept. 8). Despite the loss, the Cobras fired 66-percent of their shots on goal, and are looking to continue with their accuracy on Tuesday.

Clayton State received their first loss of the season last week after a double-over time, 2-1 match against Florida Tech.  Senior forward Natalia Valentine scored the lone goal for the Lakers

The game marks the first meeting between the two schools in women's soccer history.
