Chelsea Kent joined the Coker women's lacrosse coaching staff
in the spring of 2013. A highly talented high school and college
player, Kent played at Division I lacrosse at St. Francis
University (Pa.) from 2008-2010. During her time at St. Francis she
set several records. She is No. 5 all-time in total points in a
season (52), No. 6 all-time in assists in a season (17), No. 4
all-time in goals in a season (39), No. 4 all-time in career points
(96), No. 5 all-time in career assists (30) and No. 4 all-time in
career goals (66). She was named the Northeast Conference Rookie of
the Week in 2009.
A native of Winter Springs, Fla., Kent played high school
lacrosse for Steve Efland at Winter Springs High School.
Prior to her time at Coker she served as the head coach at
Orangewood Christian School in Orlando and was the director of the
Hericanes Lacrosse Club.
