HARTSVILLE, S.C. – The Coker women's lacrosse team dropped an 18-1 non-conference game to nationally ranked Rollins College on Sunday (Mar. 30) at Byerly Park.
Coker would take an early 1-0 lead after an unassisted goal from Mackenzie Baker, but unfortunately for the Cobras that would be their lone goal of the game. The number nine team in the country would then go on to score 18 unanswered goals to capture the win.
Millie Rogers led the Cobras defensively with four ground balls, followed by Ashlyn Burgett and Kaitlyn Kimball with three. Baker led the team in draw controls with three, while Hayley Ferone, Marabeth Durden, and Lindsay Ordemann all had two.
Coker will be back on the field this Thursday (Apr. 3) as the prepare to host Furman in a nonconference match up. Game time is set for 4:00 p.m.
