ROCK HILL, S.C. – Coker College women's golfer Taylor Demby has been selected to the All-South Atlantic Conference Second Team, the league office announced on Thursday (Apr. 9).
Demby currently holds the eighth lowest individual stroke average at 80.4 in the conference, after 16 rounds of play. Her lowest round of the season came at the Patsy Rendleman Invitational, when she recorded a 73. She has signed off on seven rounds that were below 80 this season, including a 74 at the Myrtle Beach Intercollegiate.
The sophomore from Chesterfield, S.C., is the daughter of Angela and Gregg Demby. She is an undecided major, and has been a member of the Coker golf team for the past two years.
Demby will lead her team to the SAC Championship this Sunday (Apr. 13), in Sieverville, Tenn.
