MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. – The Coker women’s golf team completed the final round of the Lenoir-Rhyne Myrtle Beach Invitational with a 15th place finish and a team score of 752 (+176). Tarleton State University took home the championship followed by UNC-Pembroke and Lincoln Memorial in second and third place respectively.

Krista Thorpe (Bracebridge, Ontario) led the Cobras shooting 94 in the second round and 175 for the tournament, while Natalie Falco (Stoughton, Mass.) fired a 92 on day two and a 189 for the tournament. Alexa Clark (Devon, Pa.) shot a 99 in the second round and a 191 for the tournament with Bobbi McKenzie (McBee, S.C.) and Megan Tingen (Hartsville, S.C.) rounding out the field for the Cobras with scores of 101 and 110 respectively for the second round and 197 and 210 for the tournament.

Coker will play their third and final tournament of the fall season in a week at Catawba’s Patsy Rendleman Invitational in Salisbury, N.C. starting October 11.
