LMU pushed two runs across the plate in game number one to take a quick 2-0 lead after the first inning.  Coker would respond with one run in the top of the second, but the Railsplitters extend their lead to 6-1 after two runs in the third, and two more in the fourth.  The Cobras would then close the gap to 6-4 by tacking on three runs in the fifth, but the score would be finalized after two scoreless innings for Coker.

Game number two featured a thrilling comeback from the Cobras.  After being down 2-0 in the bottom of the second, the Cobras shutout the Railsplitters for the remaining five innings and proceeded to score three runs in the seventh to take the game 3-2.

Tayler Barcomb led the Cobras at the plate with two RBI and a double, while Ashley Gallman also added an RBI.

Tabitha Allen (4-3) earned the win for Coker after pitching a complete game and giving up just two runs on six hits.
