Geddes Signs on for Coker Softball

HARTSVILLE, S.C. – Coker College head softball coach David Hanna announced today the addition of Carylann Geddes for the 2013-14 academic year.

"We're very much looking forward to having Carylann join our team this season," Hanna said. "She's a tremendous athlete and provides us the offensive pop all teams need. Her addition provides some outfield depth and will ensure strong competition come the fall."

Geddes, a center fielder, comes from The Albany Academy for Girls in Albany, N.Y., where she played softball and basketball for the Bears. Her senior season in softball she hit .679 with four home runs, 22 RBIs and 21 runs scored. Geddes was a first team all-area selection and named team MVP.

Carylann is the daughter of Carrie Hedderman, Mark Geddes, Daniel Zotto and Lisa Norgrove Geddes.
