POOLER, GA. – The Coker men's golf team will participate in the Armstrong Pirate Invitational on Monday (Feb. 25) and Tuesday (Feb. 26). The tournament is scheduled for 36 holes on Monday and 18 holes on Tuesday.
Leading the field for the Cobras with an average of 74.7 strokes is Christopher Fuga. Nicklaus Kennedy and Luke Coates are right behind with averages of 75.1 and 76.6, followed by Jake Murphy with a 77.2-stroke average. Rounding out the field for Coker will be Matt Kreider with an average of 77.8.
Coker is currently ranked 16th in the golfstat.com NCAA division II rankings.
The 2013 Pirate Invitational will be a 54-hole tournament, featuring 15 teams from around the southeast. The shotgun style start time will begin at 8:00 a.m. on Monday morning.
