Coker College Men’s Golf Team Climbs Another National Poll

HARTSVILLE, S.C. – The Coker College men's golf team moved up three spots to No. 14 in the latest Golf World/Nike Golf Division II Coaches Poll. The Cobras have now been ranked in the top 15 in the country in two different polls. Coker was also ranked in the top 10 by Golfstat.

"Getting a second national ranking is unbelievable," said head golf coach Tommy Baker. "This recognition is a testament to the hard work these guys have put in. Our fall season was a great success, and I'm looking forward to us capitalizing on that in the spring."

Coker competed in four events during the fall season, notching two third-place finishes, a fourth-place finish and one fifth-place finish. They kick off the spring season Feb. 25 at the Pirate Invitational in Savannah, Ga.
