GAFFNEY, S.C. – Junior Julian Nelson scored a team high 16 points in the Coker men's basketball team's 69-50 loss to Limestone College on Saturday. The loss is the Cobras first of the season in Conference Carolinas action.
The Cobras had a tough night finding the basket, hitting 32 percent of their field goals and 58 percent of their free throws. Coker trailed 36-13 at halftime, but outscored the Saints 37-33 in the second half.
Joining Nelson with double-digit points was Eren Moses with 11 points. Sharod Williams had a game high eight rebounds with six points and Austin Harper had six points and five rebounds for the Cobras.
The Cobras return to the court on Tuesday (Nov. 20) when they travel to the College of Coastal Georgia. Tip-off is scheduled for 8 p.m.
