2012-13: Goot was perfect this season, with a record of 8-0. He appeared in 34 games and started in six. During this time he waved 62 batters while posting and ERA of 4.50. Goot was named to the All-Conference first team, while also being named with Academic All-Conference honors. He was Conference Carolinas player of the week twice during the regular season, and was also named NCBWA Southeast Region Pitcher of the Week on 4/17/13. Goot was also named the Conference Carolinas Scholar Athlete of the Year for baseball.
2011-12: Goot appeared in 15 games with 13 starts in 2011-12. He was named Conference Carolinas Pitcher of the Week and Division II National Pitcher of the Week (3/1). He posted a record of 6-6 with a 4.89 ERA and 52 strikeouts in 81 innings. He was second on the team in ERA and was second in complete games (3). Goot's best performance of the year was a eight strikeout, two earned run, complete game win over Limestone (2/26).
2010-11: Goot worked in 13 games with two starts. In 22.2 innings Andrew had a record of 0-2 with a 9.53 ERA. He had one save and struck out 13 hitters.
High School: Goot was named Most Valuable Pitcher during his senior season at Palm Harbor University High School and was a letter winner in both baseball and basketball.
Personal: Son of Robert and Joanne Goot...he has one sister Miranda...he is a member of Coker College's Dean's List.
