Men’s Soccer

• This week’s matches:
  • Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. (H) – Florida Tech
  • Saturday at 7:00 p.m. (H) – Lenoir-Rhyne

• Last week’s matches:
  • Florida Southern (W) – 2-1 (OT2)
  • #5 Flagler (L) – 3-2 (OT)

• The Cobras opened their 2012 season by going 1-1 in a pair of overtime matches in Florida. This week Coker will play host to their first home matches of the season, starting with Florida Tech on Tuesday and finishing up with future South Atlantic Conference opponent Lenoir-Rhyne on Saturday.

Women’s Soccer

• This week’s matches:
  • Thursday at 6:00 p.m. (H) - Catawba
  • Saturday at 3:30 p.m. (A) - Armstrong

• Last week’s matches:
  • Valdosta State (L) – 1-0
  • Young Harris (L) – 4-2

• After suffering a pair of tough losses in their opening week, the Coker women’s soccer team is looking to bounce back with two games this week. They will host future South Atlantic Conference opponent Catawba on Thursday night and then travel to Savannah, Ga. to face the No. 3 Armstrong Atlantic Pirates.

Women’s Volleyball

• This week’s matches:
  • Friday- Saturday at Anderson University Invitational in Anderson, S.C.
    • Friday at 4:00 p.m. (A) - Tusculum
    • Friday at 9:00 p.m. (A) - Montreat
    • Saturday at 9:00 a.m. (A) - Montevallo
    • Saturday at 1:00 p.m. (A) - Anderson

• Last week’s matches:
  • Roberts Wesleyan (L) – 3-2
  • Indiana (Pa.) (L) – 3-0
  • Le Moyne (L) – 3-0
  • Michigan Tech (L) – 3-0

• The women’s volleyball team takes to the road once again for another four-match weekend. This weekend the Cobras head to Anderson, S.C. for the Anderson University Invitational. Coker will face two future South Atlantic Conference opponents, Tusculum College and Anderson University.

Men’s & Women’s Cross Country

• This week’s meet:
  • None

• This week’s meet:
  • Eye Opener Invitational- Women- 22 of 23, Men- 20 of 25

• The men’s and women’s cross country teams ran their first meet under the direction of new head coach Vic Finora last week. They will take a week off before returning to the trails on Sept. 15 at the Winthrop Invitational.
