Women’s Basketball

  • This week’s games:
    • Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. (H) – Mount Olive – Conf. Carolinas Tournament- Quarterfinals
    • Friday at 7:00 p.m. – Conf. Carolinas Tournament- Semifinals
    • Sunday at 2:00 p.m. – Conf. Carolinas Tournament- Championship
  • Last week’s games:
    • Queens (W) – 63-59
    • Belmont Abbey (W) – 75-63
  • The Cobra women’s basketball team extended their winning streak to six games with a pair of victories last week over Queens and Belmont Abbey.  This week the Cobras will host Mount Olive College in the Quarterfinals of the Conference Carolinas Women’s Basketball Tournament. Coker is the #4 seed and Mount Olive is the #5 seed in the tourney. The Cobras swept the Trojans during the regular season, winning 78-64 and 66-63. All fans are encouraged to wear yellow to the game on Tuesday night and “Yellow Out” Timberlake-Lawton Gymnasium.

Men’s Basketball

    • Monday at 7:00 p.m. (A) – Barton- Conf. Carolinas Tournament- Quarterfinals
    • Thursday at 7:00 p.m. – Conf. Carolinas Tournament- Semifinals
    • Saturday at 7:00 p.m. – Conf. Carolinas Tournament- Championship
  • Last week’s games:
    • Queens (L) – 55-50
    • Belmont Abbey (W) – 86-81
  • The Coker men defeated Belmont Abbey in their final regular season game of the year last week, 86-81. The Cobras secured the #8 seed in the Conference Carolinas Men’s Basketball Tournament and will travel to face the #1 seed Barton College on Monday. Coker split their regular season series with Barton, defeating the Bulldogs 94-90 in triple overtime on Feb. 6.  

Men’s Volleyball

  • This week’s matches:
    • Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. (A) – Barton
  • Last week’s matches:
    • Belmont Abbey (W) – 3-1
    • Lees-McRae (W) – 3-1
  • The men’s volleyball team extended their winning streak to three matches with a pair of conference wins last week over Belmont Abbey (3-1) and Lees-McRae (3-1). This week the men will hit the road to take on conference foe Barton on Wednesday.

    • Saturday at 12:00 p.m. (A) – King (DH)
    • Sunday at 12 p.m. (A) – King
  • Last week’s games:
    • Barton (W) – 5-4
    • UNC Pembroke (L) – 5-4
    • Limestone – (L) 8-7, (W) 2-1, (L) 7-5
  • The baseball team went 2-3 last week picking up two league victories and improving their record to 4-2 in conference and 11-6 overall.  This wee they will hit the road to Claflin for a non-conference game on Wednesday and to King University in Tennessee for a three-game conference series over the weekend.

  • Last week the softball team got the Conference Carolinas portion of their schedule started with a pair of victories over Barton. This week the Cobras will begin a 10 game home stand. They will face conference foes North Greenville and Queens, along with non-conference opponent West Liberty.

Men’s Golf

  • The nationally ranked No. 17 Coker men’s golf team was rained out of their tournament in Savannah, Ga. last week. The Cobras will be back on the links on March 25-26 at the Bearcat Golf Classic.  

Women’s Golf

  • This week’s tournaments:
    • Armstrong Pirate Invitational – March 4-5 at Savannah, Ga.
  • Last week’s tournaments:
    • None
  • The women’s golf team returns to the course for the first time since Feb. 3 for this week’s Armstrong Pirate Invitational. The 36-hole tournament features 14 teams from across the nation.

Men’s and Women’s Tennis

  • This week’s matches:
    • Monday at 2:30 p.m. (H) – Barton
    • Saturday at 1:00 p.m. (A) – Lenoir-Rhyne
    • Sunday at 1:00 p.m. (A) – Pfeiffer
  • Last week’s matches:
    • Lees-McRae – (W) 7-2 – women, (W) 9-0 – men
    • King – (W) 7-2 – women, (W) 7-2 – men
  • The Coker tennis teams went undefeated last week picking up wins against Conference Carolinas rivals Lees-McRae and King. This week they will host Barton on Monday, and they hit the road to face Lenoir-Rhyne and Pfeiffer on Saturday and Sunday.

Men’s Lacrosse

  • This week’s games:
    • Wednesday at 3:00 p.m. (A) – Limestone
  • Last week’s games:
    • Queens (L) – 14-6
    • Florida Tech (L) – 10-7
    • Tampa (L) – 17-7
  • The men’s lacrosse team will take on Conference Carolinas rival Limestone this week in a road game on Wednesday.
