Women's Soccer
- This week's games:
- Wednesday at 5:00 p.m. (A)- Barton
- Saturday at 4:30 p.m. (H) – Lees-McRae “Kick for
Ta-Tas”
- Last week's results:
- Converse – 3-0 (L)
- Limestone - 4-1 (L)
- The Coker women have a big week of games ahead of them with two
Conference Carolinas matches, including their first ever breast
cnacer awareness game known as the “Kick for Ta-Tas”.
The “Kick for Ta-Tas” will be held at Coker on
Saturday, Oct. 22 when the Cobras take on Lees-McRae College at
4:30 p.m. As part of the “Kick for Ta-Tas” the women
are selling special t-shirts for $10 with all proceeds going to the
Susan G. Komen for the Cure Foundation. If you are interested in
pre-ordering your very own “Kick for Ta-Tas” t-shirt

Men's Soccer
- This week's games:
- Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. (A)- Barton
- Saturday at 7:00 p.m. (H) – Lees-McRae
- Last week's results:
- Lander – 3-2 (W)
- Limestone – 1-0 (W)
- The Cobra men earned their first nationally ranking of the
season last week, taking the No. 11 spot in the NSCAA National
Poll. In addition to their national ranking the Cobras also
received a No. 2 Southeast regional ranking. The men successfully
defended their national ranking with a pair of wins, including
staying perfect in Conference Carolinas play and extending their
winning streak to 11 consecutive matches. This week they face two
challenging conference opponents in Barton College on Wednesday and
Lees-McRae College on Saturday.
Volleyball
- This week's matches:
- Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. (A) – St. Andrews
- Thursday at 7:00 p.m. (A) – Fayetteville State
- Last week’s results:
- King – 3-1 (L)
- North Greenville – 3-2 (W)
- The Coker volleyball team snapped an eight match losing streak
last week with a 3-2 win over North Greenville. The Cobras will
continue their five match road stint with two more matches away
from the friendly confines of Timberlake-Lawton this week. The
first will be just up Hwy. 15 at St. Andrews University on
Wednesday and then the Cobras will travel up I-95 to take on
Fayetteville State on Friday night.
Cross Country
- This week's meets:
- Friday (A)- Conference Carolinas Championships in Charlotte,
N.C.
- Last week’s results:
- Royals Cross Country Challenge – Men- 14 of 19, Women 17
of 21
- Last week the Cobras had a couple of very good showings at the
Royals Cross Country Challenge in order to prepare them for this
week’s Conference Carolinas Championship, which will be held
on the same course in Charlotte. According to head coach Kevin
Kelley, “Both teams are very excited to return to the course
for another great race.”
Women’s Golf
- This week’s tournaments:
- Monday- Tuesday (A)- Patsy Rendelman Invitational in Salisbury,
N.C.
- This week the Cobra women tee it up for their last tournament
of their fall season. Last season they finished 15th at
the Rendelman Invitational.
