Cobra Spotlight- John Elliott, Men's Lacrosse

The "Cobra Spotlight" is a weekly highlight of a student-athlete at Coker College. Each week we take a different athlete from a different sport and display some facets to get more familiar with them. This week we take a look at John Elliott, a member of the men's lacrosse team.

Major: Business administration with a concentration in sport management.

What is your best memory at Coker (athletic related)? I would have to say playing with my brother for his last year of college lacrosse.

What is your best memory at Coker (non-athletic related)? When I got my first dog, Dilly.

Which athletic team would you play on at Coker other than your own?  Men’s golf

Favorite class: Coaching with Dan Schmotzer

Favorite professor: It is between Suzanne Parker and John Jewell. Peace, Love and Puka Shells!

Plans after graduation: Let’s get to graduation first. It’s a marathon not a sprint, right?

What is something people may not know about you? I have a deep fear of ketchup.

Do you have a nickname? If so, how did you get it? I used to have the nickname Jelliott, someone forgot to put the period after the ‘J’ on my football jersey. Not to mention, I was a little ‘plump’ back then.
