Name: Aneka Dixon

Why did you choose Coker? I chose Coker because of its great academic program, and I wanted to play basketball and run cross-country.

What is your best memory at Coker (athletic related)? Beating Queens University during the 2012-13 basketball season. It was a very energetic game and a hard-fought win.

What is your best memory at Coker (non-athletic related)?  Having my friends throw me a surprise birthday party for last year. It was nice knowing people cared that much about me to go out of their way to make my birthday memorable.

Which athletic team would you play on at Coker other than your own? Seeing how I played for two years in high school, I would have to say women’s tennis.

Favorite class: That would be Extensive Spanish. Mainly because learning a new language and about different Spanish cultures is interesting and fun to me.

Favorite professor: Don Mac is my favorite professor by far. He makes learning exciting and fun with is comedic teaching style. It is never a dull and boring in his classes.

Plans after graduation: My plans after graduating would be to go to graduate school, get my master’s and after that become a physical therapist.

Favorite movie: I really love scary movies, so I would say Insidious Chapter 2.

Favorite type of music: Hip-hop/R&B. I can always vibe better to that type of music.

Favorite food: I have always loved macaroni and cheese; best food of all time.

Favorite sports team: Los Angeles Lakers. Such a great franchise with a history of great players.

Favorite color: I’m a girly girl, so I have to go with light pink.

Favorite TV show: I’m really into family shows, so I’m going with Family Feud.

Most prized possession: Family. I know they will always support me no matter what.

What is something people may not know about you? I am a very big cornball. I laugh all day at the smallest, yet dumbest things.

Do you have a nickname? If so, how did you get it? Most of my cousins tend to call me Ms. Neek Neek, don’t really know why though.

One word that describes you: Detailed

Name: Hannah Weibel (previously Cook)

Sport: Women’s cross country

Position: We all have the same job on a cross country team. RUN!

Major: Exercise science

Why did you choose Coker? Because Coach Vic was so cool! The great weather and friendly people everywhere helped also.

What is your best memory at Coker (athletic related)? Taking first place in our first race and setting a new school record!

What is your best memory at Coker (non-athletic related)? Too many, but I would have to say either flipping the canoe with my teammates or late-night freeze tag with some teammates, classmates and the best RA who isn’t even my RA, Steven Strother.

Which athletic team would you play on at Coker other than your own?  I would love to try lacrosse, or play basketball because it is one of the best sports ever invented.

Favorite class: Hmm, I have to say my favorite class is Music 230 with professor Graham Wood.

Favorite professor: Ugh, I hate choosing favorites, it’s so mean! I would say a tie between Dr. Clark and Dr. McLaughlin, because both of them are very well-educated, professional and nice, so I cannot differentiate enough to choose one.

Plans after graduation: Become a personal trainer and some other form of exercise enthusiast wherever my husband is stationed.  He is a United States Marine. Semper Fi!

Favorite movie: I hate this question!  I have to say Despicable Me, Hunger Games and Cool Runnings. And about 20 more, depending on my mood.

Favorite type of music: Hip-hop/rap and classic rock.

Favorite food: All of these questions that have multiple answers… I choose peanut butter and jelly on whole grain bread.

Favorite sports team: Cleveland Cavaliers

Favorite color: Lime green and/or electric blue

Favorite TV show: I don’t have time for TV; I have too far to run!

Most prized possession: My husband’s old Penn State jacket. It’s the first article of clothing he ever gave me; although he never went to Penn State, so I don't know why he owned it.

What is something people may not know about you? I had a warrant out for my arrest in my hometown because I forgot about a speeding ticket!

Do you have a nickname? If so, how did you get it? Banana- Because it rhymes with Hannah, of course, and I love bananas

One word that describes you: Optimistic

What is your best memory at Coker (non-athletic related)?  Spending Memorial Day weekend at Myrtle Beach with Vanessa Pina, Hannah Cook, Nick Mascardo, Brit Tomlinson and Thomas Jenkins.

The crown and sash just reminds me that hard work and dedication pays off in the long run.

What is something people may not know about you?  I literally fear nothing

Do you have a nickname? If so, how did you get it?  Boss Becca. My friends always tell me I run things like a boss so the name kind of just stuck.
